Gracie-Mae - Year 11 (2025/26)
During my time at The Link Academy, I’ve grown a lot and made friendships I really value. Since Year 7, I’ve been part of student leadership, helping plan events and make changes in school. It’s really boosted my confidence and helped me find my voice.
As student president, I got into public speaking and joined the ‘express youRSelf’ debate club, where I took part in trust-wide debates and picked up some wins with my team. It’s helped me understand different views and grow as a person.
My advice to Year 6: just be yourself. Try new things, don’t be scared, and step out of your comfort zone. Secondary school is your chance to figure things out—make the most of it!
