  • Parent Governors Vacancy

    We are delighted to announce that we have successfully filled the two vacancies for elected Parent Governors on the Local Advisory Committee of The Link Academy.

    The academy received  four nominations for our two parent governor vacancies and the ballot closed at 4.00pm on Thursday 2nd December 2021.  A total of 37 votes were received and we are happy to announce that  Mohammed Rohail Aslam and Fakhra Janjua were duly elected.

    Thank you to all the candidates for putting themselves forward to be considered and to all parents/carers who voted in the election.

    West Midlands Fire Service is committed to making its communities safer, healthier and stronger. In recent months they have seen an increase in house fires starting in the kitchen and part of their strategy to tackle this is to deliver safe and well visits to everyone in the community. They aim to improve safety in the home, offer road safety advice and signpost where appropriate. Fire fighters will fit smoke alarms and specialist equipment where needed free of charge and will leave you with a booklet with handy tips for making your home as safe as possible.
