Recently our Year 11 pupils completed their second set of PPEs and we are really pleased with their continued effort and commitment to their studies. We are now approaching the final weeks before the formal GCSE examinations begin and we would like to invite you to our Year 11 Exam Information Evening.
You will be aware that the National Education Union (NEU), have declared strike action over several dates, the next two dates are Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th March. The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government over teachers’ pay and conditions, and not because of any issues at our academy. Other teaching unions have directed their members not to cover lessons of other teachers who are on strike.

As you will know, in November, one of our Year 11 learners, Ruby Davies, tragically died after a road traffic incident. Today would have been Ruby's 16th Birthday.
It is Year 11 Progress Evening on Thursday 19th January 2023 from 5pm -7.30pm.
Vaccination UK will soon be visiting school to offer the flu vaccine to all eligible children in year Reception to Year 9.
