The Trust is committed to following the government’s Careers Strategy (published July 2021) and aims to meet the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks as per the guidance. We use the Compass Audit tool to evaluate our Careers impact and measure our progress against the Gatsby Benchmarks and use Tracker to improve the quality of provision. The Trust is part of the Black Country Careers Hub and works alongside The Careers Enterprise Company (CEC) to deliver a high quality careers education for all our learners. The Careers provision is audited and evaluated every term using the compass audit tool, this helps to assess the impact of the careers program for our learners.

Please find below Careers Policy and our policy on complying with the statutory guidance that academies must comply with section 42B of the Education Act 1997, commonly known as the ‘Baker Clause’. This policy statement sets out the circumstances in which providers of technical education and apprenticeships will be given access to years 8 to 13 pupils.
